Your privacy

Your birth details and what you tell the app only mean something if they stay yours. This page says what we keep, what we never keep, who helps us run the app, and how you take it all back. We never sell your data.
What we keep
With your account, we keep:
- your email address and your first name;
- your birth date, your birth time (or that you don’t know it) and your birth place, with its coordinates and its timezone;
- what brought you to the app and the guides you put in play;
- your chart and your key, calculated from your birth details, and today’s sky with your transits;
- the texts written for you, the guides you read and where you stopped in them;
- your conversations in Ask, and how many questions you asked;
- your last outfit verdict and when you got it;
- your timezone, and your sign-in sessions: when, from which IP address and which browser;
- counters of how often you used Ask, the outfit check or the search, by account or by IP address, to stop abuse;
- for Premium and the readings you buy: your Stripe customer number, your plan, its state and its dates, your currency, what you bought, and the date of the reminder we emailed you.
Nothing else. We use it to run the app for you, and for nothing else.
Before you have an account
Your answers in the first screens (your first name, what brought you, your guides, your birth details) and the portrait written from them are kept against a cookie in your browser, so you can come back where you stopped. When you create your account, they move to it. If you don’t, they are kept 30 days after your last change, then deleted.
The texts written for you
To write your texts, we send Anthropic your placements (the signs and houses of your chart, your key, today’s sky) and the guides you put in play. For Ask, we also send your first name, your question and your conversation. We never send your email address. It is not used to train their models. Anthropic keeps none of it once it has answered, under our agreement with them, except Today’s hand: it is written overnight in a batch, whose results Anthropic keeps up to 29 days. How these texts are written is in our Terms.
For each text, we record which model wrote it, how many words went in and out, and what it cost. Never its content.
Ask
Ask keeps your messages and its answers, and a summary of your older conversations, so it remembers what you talked about. Each question is first read by a model to catch a crisis, a medical or a legal question, which get help resources instead of a reading.
“Delete my Ask history”, in your profile, deletes your messages, their answers and the summary at once. Only the number of questions you asked stays, for the limits.
The outfit photo, never kept
Your outfit photo is made smaller on your phone, then sent to our server, which sends it to Anthropic for the verdict. We never write it to a disk, to our database, to a log or to the analytics, and the session recordings leave it out. Anthropic doesn’t keep it once it has answered, under our agreement with them.
We keep only your last verdict (its level, its reason and its idea) and its time.
How we check the texts’ quality
Our team checks the texts the app writes, in two ways. Both are read by our team only, and shown to no one else.
- Each text written for you is copied, with the versions the checks refused before it, and kept 15 days. Each week, our team reads a random sample. The copies never hold your questions, but an answer from Ask speaks of what you asked, and may call you by your first name. The copies of Ask’s answers go when you delete your Ask history.
- To compare models, we may have your portrait, your bigger picture or Today’s hand written again by two models, from your placements and your guides alone, with no name and no birth details. Those texts and our team’s ratings are kept until your account is deleted.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe receives what a payment needs, such as your card details and your email address. We never see or store your card number. Stripe keeps your customer record (your email address and your payment details) and your invoices.
Emails
We email you only for your account: your sign-in code, and the reminder on day 2 of your free days. No newsletter, no marketing.
What we measure
We measure how the app is used, with PostHog: a page opened, a button tapped, a step reached, an error the app ran into (its type and where in our code, never its message). Values, counts and states only, never a word you wrote. You are known there by an identifier, never by your email address.
We also record replays of how the screens are used, to find what is hard to use. Everything you type is masked, so are your name and your email address, and so is your outfit photo. Mouse and finger movements are not recorded.
Cookies
We use a cookie to keep you signed in, one to keep your first answers before you have an account, and PostHog’s, to measure how the app is used. Outside the UK, the European Economic Area and Switzerland, on our website’s pages and before you sign in, Pinterest’s tag may also set a cookie, to tell Pinterest that a visit from one of its pins became a sign-up. It is never loaded in the UK, the European Economic Area or Switzerland.
Who processes your data
These companies process your data for us, only to run the app:
- Supabase: our database.
- Vercel: hosts the app and its servers.
- Anthropic: writes your texts and the outfit verdict, as said above.
- Stripe: payments.
- Resend: sends our emails.
- PostHog: measures how the app is used, in Europe.
- Google (Places): finds your birth city from what you type in the search. Our server asks it, so Google never sees who you are.
- Pinterest: its ad tag, outside the UK, the European Economic Area and Switzerland only, as said above.
Your chart is calculated on our own server: no one else receives your birth details for it. The Cosmic Edit’s playlists open in Spotify, which applies its own policy once you are there.
A copy of your data
“Download my data”, in your profile, gives you at once a file with your account, your birth details, your chart, the texts written for you, the guides you read, your Ask history, your purchases, your sign-in sessions and the copies kept for our quality checks.
Deleting your account
“Delete my account and data”, in your profile, deletes at once and for good your account, your birth details, your chart, every text written for you, your Ask history, the copies kept for our quality checks and everything else listed on this page. Premium stops with it, and nothing more is charged.
Three things stay: Stripe keeps your customer record and your invoices, as the law requires; the measures and replays of PostHog, and the counters that stop abuse, stay tied to an identifier that no longer leads to anyone.
Your rights
You can see, correct, download and delete your data at any time: your birth details and your guides from your profile, the rest by writing to us. You can also complain to the data protection authority of your country, such as the ICO in the UK.
